We approach wedding menu creation from a very personal level. The first and most essential step in our menu creation process is an exploratory phone call. The goal is to discuss not only the style of service and logistics, but to discover specific culinary inspirations and connections from which to build a unique experience that speaks to the couple. We discuss their favorite dishes at restaurants, memorable meals while abroad, oft-referenced cookbooks, their families’ culinary history, go-to meals when hosting a dinner party, etc. For example, a couple might have a strong connection to some late-night street tacos that they had in Mexico City a few years back, so we'd suggest integrating that memorable dish as a passed app during cocktail hour.

The process of discovering these culinary cornerstones is why we prefer not to offer standardized menus, but to create a bespoke menu that speaks to the couple and their combined epicurean journey, and can be efficiently executed for 100 or more guests in a compressed window of service time (wedding planners love a tight timeline!). We take great pride in providing services for private occasions and have had the honor of contributing to a full range of events; from birthday parties and anniversaries, to memorials and celebrations of life. As caterers, it is our goal to understand our client’s wishes and needs in order to craft a menu reflective of them and their loved ones, no matter which stage of life is being celebrated.
WİNERY EVENTS
Our approach to winemaker dinners is founded on a collaborative relationship with the vintners themselves as well as the winery director’s vision. We place great value on the opportunity to engage directly with winemakers, developing pairings that resonate with the vintage and the varietal, the seasons, the winery’s vision, and the glorious bounty of the Central Coast. These intimate dinners provide a creative platform for us to explore innovative flavor combinations and craft dishes that truly complement the wine and speak to a discerning audience.
For more standard wine club events and pick-up parties, we offer a range of more casual options, while still aiming to elevate the tasting experience. We conceive menus that not only pair harmoniously with the wines but also introduce unexpected and enticing flavors. We have successfully paired the region’s diverse range of wines with a variety of menu options—from Chicken Shawarma (or Lamb or Veggie versions) to traditional Hawaiian BBQ plates, from house-made Linguica Sausages to the Mediterranean Meatballs with Israeli Cous Cous, and everything in-between. The challenge of continually creating distinctive menus that surpass guest expectations and reveal new dimensions in the wines' flavor profiles is a pursuit we embrace with enthusiasm.
